If you haven’t already downloaded the demo yet, you can find it at your platform of choice (PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace).  I have played the demo on both systems and from the looks of it I might stick with the PlayStation 3 version.

However if you read my Dead Space review I mentioned that Dead Space’s control were perfect and very easy to use.  Sadly if you have ever played Resident Evil 4 there is no change in the controls in RE5.  You still cannot run and shoot.  Why is that I cannot move and shoot at the same time.  Your character also controls like a tank a la RE4.  So in my opinion I see this game as RE4 with some amazing graphics.  With a game becoming more action oriented and less horror, the game controls have to be at least playable.

To its credit I guess the reason its RE5 and not RE4 is the co-up.  From all the previews that I have read; which say to not base your opinion on the demo because you haven’t played the rest of the game.  So I am going to have an open mind on this one, but it would be nice to sometimes see what I’m knifing.
