2008 was great year.  But it was an amazing year for gaming.  With so many damn games coming out in the tail end of the year I think I spent over 200 dollars on games during the holidays.  Some of them amazing and some not so amazing.  Anyways lets get right to it. Since we are coming into Christmas,  I have decided to give away some LBP Kratos preorder bonuses.  Yes I was able to snag a couple more from my store.  Since we have no more need for them I have decided to just give them away (4 to be exact).  For those of you who don’t know this is the preorder bonus from GameStop if you preordered it.  So if you were not able to get one now is your chance.

Also this bonus is only eligible for users who have US account.  I ran into that issue with my previous give-away.  This give-away is on a first come first serve basis, so first to comment gets a code. Remember these codes expire on January 9th, 2009.

I have in my possession 4 Little Big Planet preorder bonuses. The one with the Kratos, Medusa, and Minotaur in game costume, for those of you who didn’t preorder at Gamestop. First 4 to contact me can claim one as I have no need for them.

Also I have been sent a Call of Duty: WW MP Beta code. Keep in mind this is for the PC beta. Since I don’t have a rig that can run it I have no need for this one either. Again first person to contact me, I only have one.

God Dammit.  I guess we’ll have to wait one more week for the release of Little Big Planet.  The reason for the push back had to do with some of the lyrics in one of the songs.  Apparently it quotes the Quran.  You can read about it here.

Well, in the store we had a lot of copies that were going to be recalled.  These were going to be shipped back to Sony next week Monday.  To ease the pain my store manager decided to let me play it.  It went something like this:  “Meeshaan, go in the back and play Little Big Planet.”  Mind you I was on the clock at this time.  But the real reason is because he wanted to see were the Quran reference occurred.   Since the lyrics were in Somalian we really couldn’t understand them, my manager said to just continue playing.

I was able to play 5 more levels of the story mode past the beta and holy shit the level design is so good.  Not only that, each level has its own specific theme.  I was able to play an African safari theme and a wedding theme.  I really can’t wait for this game.  Sadly we’re going to have to wait a little bit longer. 

At least it’s just one week.

It’s been quite a while since I have actually put up anything on this site. And the big shots over at NWW Network have been pestering me about putting up some content. Well here it is. My first review. Not necessarily a review but just giving some insight to the game I have been playing a ton of.

As many of you have heard the Little Big Planet beta has been going on for a couple of days and has just ended this past Saturday. I was lucky enough to get a code (from USA Today of all places) and have been playing the crap out of it.
